About Highlanders Chapter SAR

At Highlanders Chapter SAR, we serve the south central area of Ohio, bordered by Cincinnati and Dayton to the west and Columbus to the north.  

 The Sons of the American Revolution honors our Revolutionary War patriot  ancestors by promoting patriotism, serving our communities and  educating and inspiring future generations about the founding principles  of our Country. 

Founded in 2016, the Highlanders Chapter SAR has been growing and  working tirelessly to bring awareness to the history of the founders of our great country and their sacrifices and commitment to form our new nation where individuals determine how to live their lives.

Each member of the Sons of the American Revolution has a direct proven ancestral lineage back to a patriot who served or supported the American Revolutionary cause.  

This patriotic service time period covers the events from April 19, 1775 through November 26th, 1783.
