Celebrate America's 250th Birthday

The SAR is recognizing this event by promoting and educating others on the background and events of the American Revolution.

The time period recognized by the SAR for patriotic service is from: April 19th, 1775 through November 26th, 1783.

Roots of the Rebellion - presented below is a illustration of all the key battles and events leading up to, during and immediately after the American Revolution.  

This is presented as a tree, with the roots displaying the underlying causes of the war and over time branches out into the various battles and ending with the Treaty of Paris in 1783.
